In 1990 Athena was distributing Donair (Gyros) throughout the province of Alberta. In 1995 Athena Donair left the restaurant business and became a federally inspected processing plant, specializing in (Gyros) Donair meat. Athena Donair is presently serving restaurants, hotels, institutions, distributors, grocery chains and sandwich makers.
